With over a decade of experience at the intersection of government, policy, and operations, Miles Fernandez serves as Chief of Staff at REFORM Alliance, where he drives organizational strategy, executive operations, and cross-functional initiatives in support of the organization’s mission to transform the criminal justice system.
Before joining REFORM, Fernandez held senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he served as Chief of Staff across two offices and advised senior federal leadership on a multi-billion dollar portfolio of national energy initiatives. In those roles, he drove major policy and funding outcomes at scale, designed executive operating systems, and led cross-agency collaboration at the highest levels of government. Prior to DOE, he spent nearly a decade in national politics, advising senior leadership and driving organizational strategy and operations.
Fernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.
